KRISHNO BOLO SANGE CHOLO by Rajib Shraban [Hardcover]
KRISHNO BOLO SANGE CHOLO by Rajib Shraban [Hardcover]
Born into a Hindu Kulin Brahmin household, he lost his father just a few days after his birth. His mother was also burned alive on his father’s funeral pyre, following the cruel tradition of Sati, leaving the infant orphaned. An infertile Muslim man, longing for a child, took it upon himself to raise the helpless baby as his own.
This story paints a rare picture of humanity from seven centuries ago. The boy, though raised as a Muslim, remained constantly immersed in devotion to Krishna. Even Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, despite knowing his background, embraced him wholeheartedly.
Throughout his life, he often faced the harsh scrutiny of society leaders, both from Hindu and Muslim communities. Many tried to slander his character, but every time, he emerged victorious. Even the courtesan Tulsibai, sent to defame him, eventually became his disciple.
He enchanted people with devotional singing (Nama-kirtan) and spread the message of brotherly love. In Puri, he sought liberation from Mahaprabhu, and Chaitanya, recognizing his deep devotion, granted his wish.
The book "Krishna Bolo Sange Chalo" narrates the inspiring story of how this Yavanaputra (Muslim-raised son) devoted himself entirely to Krishna, transcending the boundaries of religion and societal expectations.
