The timeframe of this story spans from 7 AM to 3 PM on a certain 24th of December. Multiple storylines flow in parallel through the novel Cross-Cross. There are the stories of photographer Archie and Ira, whose love now seeks to make a decision. Meanwhile, Ahan and Urni find themselves facing an unexpected crisis at the office. In trying to handle the crisis, Ahan regains his self-confidence, and Urni, with renewed enthusiasm, wants to organize her chaotic life. In this novel, artist Simon Rupen Mondal supports his disabled sister by painting pictures, while Mahesh, who is suffering from lung cancer, carries the burden of guilt from a forbidden relationship. There is also the story of Meher, who wants to make a name in modeling, the villainous character Shatanik Basu, and the auto-rickshaw driver Bom - all three share their stories in Cross-Cross. Before Shatanik can harm Meher, he meets with an accident, and Meher reaches Ahan. Meanwhile, Bom overcomes his inferiority complex. There is also the remarkable character Neddu Pagla, who, while wanting to teach the world a lesson, also hopes that humanity may benefit from the kindness of others.
