Honeytrap by Jayanta Narayan Chattopadhyay [Hardcover]
Honeytrap by Jayanta Narayan Chattopadhyay [Hardcover]
Two novels for adults:
The first novel, Jani Tag To, though fictional, serves as a stark reflection of the harsh realities of modern life. It explores how criminals trap young women and housewives, using fake Facebook profiles to form friendships and engage in verbal sex. They later exploit vulnerable moments to demand naked pictures of the women, leading to blackmail. This initiates a cycle of human trafficking, pornography, and drugs, ruining many lives.
The main character, Kandarpa Narayan, along with his juniors and the city team, sets out to capture these criminals.
The second novel, Muo Katha Bole, centers around a series of murders within the same family. One surviving member, Ellen, seeks justice from Kandarpa Narayan. Meanwhile, Narayan and his junior colleagues head to Mandarmoni, where they encounter a mysterious little girl who leads them to a significant clue. The story intertwines suspense and drama as Narayan works to solve the puzzle.
A note from the author: Please do not look for real-life parallels in my novels. They are works of fiction and should be enjoyed as such.
