He can be described with many more adjectives. He is greater than what he has given. His entire life, including his literature, music, and poetry, is embedded in an unbroken spiritual consciousness and an unceasing search for truth.

Overall, Dilip Kumar Roy is talent-oriented toward the world. Yet, it cannot be denied that his greatest creation achieved its fullest perfection through his music. Not only that, but he also played a significant role in spreading the music he created and experienced worldwide. If music was his first love and initial identity, then Dilip Kumar’s second identity is that of a first-class literary figure, having excelled in his unique spiritual practice. From the world of music, he emerged into the world of literature.

With more than a hundred books in Bengali and English, his works include novels, poetry, music, travelogues, romances, and stories of the supernatural, covering a wide range of topics. It must be noted that most of his writings are infused with mysticism or spiritual themes. His literary creations pulse with a sense of supernatural presence even in the midst of modern life. In his works, rather than focusing solely on the narrative, mental self-awareness, the outlines of future life, the characteristics of creation, and the supreme presence of God are elements that the reader perceives at every moment.
