Thirty-five years ago, in January 1977, Jay Goswami's first book of short poetry came out. There were only eight poems, none of which had previously been published in any magazine. Later, at least three more full-length books of poetry by Jay Goswami came out namely 'Vishad', 'Surya Pora Chai', and 'Mautat Maheshwar', all of which were unpublished poems. Their first debut happened as a book of poetry. Hundreds of poems in the current poetry book are also first published between these two covers. Not a single text of this book has been published anywhere before.
