"Ebar Kakababu’r Pratishodh" (This Time Kakababu’s Revenge) is quite different from other novels in the series. This difference is not merely in terms of content but in a literal sense. Typically, Kakababu is portrayed as having a tough mental strength coupled with a soft heart, which prevents him from aggressively confronting even his greatest enemies. However, in this novel, Kakababu is shown in a truly destructive role.

The character of Jojo is also presented in a new light. This new Jojo not only shoots bullets but also writes humorous poems in both English and Bengali, which are just as amusing as his tall tales. In this novel, Kakababu appears mostly alone. The presence of Santu and Jojo is much less compared to other novels in the series. Additionally, this installment has less humor compared to the other Kakababu and Santu novels.
