The social sketches titled Rasebose were published in two parts in the Sunday edition of Anandabazar Patrika. The writings from the first part had already been published in book form. Now, the second part of these sketches has been compiled into a two-volume collection. The author has given this new edition the title Rakhis Ma Rasebose. Readers know that, at least from their side, this prayer had already been fulfilled. It was in these writings, filled with Sanjeev Chattopadhyay's unparalleled humor, satire, and sarcasm on various aspects of contemporary life, that this sincere wish was realized. In fact, it is like an endless fountain of wit.
