Boni is the name of a remarkable child. Born to a Bengali couple living in America, Boni's life is shrouded in mystery from the very beginning. His body is completely limp, and there is no medical solution in sight. The doctor who intended to perform surgery on Boni’s brain to discover the cause of his immobility received threatening phone calls from mysterious figures, proving that their threats were not mere bluster. As a result, Boni's treatment came to a halt.

However, the intrigue surrounding Boni does not stop there. In moments of danger, the color of his pupils changes, and there are sinister forces determined to exert control over him. Additionally, a foreign scientist is being sought for his assistance. Shirishendu Mukhopadhyay, the recently awarded Sahitya Akademi Prize winner, has crafted a captivating novel around these themes.
