In Agatha Christie’s The ABC Murders, a cunning serial killer is methodically working through the alphabet, leaving an ABC Railway Guide next to each victim as a gruesome signature. The murders begin in Andover, followed by Bexhill, and then Churston, with each victim’s name matching the corresponding letter of the town. The killer seems unstoppable, and with little evidence, the police are baffled. However, the murderer’s arrogance leads them to challenge Hercule Poirot to solve the case before they complete the alphabet. Poirot must use all his skill and insight to outwit the killer and prevent further deaths.
