With this volume, the Complete Short Stories of Debesh Roy comes to an end. In the original arrangement of the story collection, this volume would have been the seventh. The sixth volume of that arrangement was published in 2000. In the new arrangement, this is the fourth volume. It is a compilation of stories written over nearly twenty-four years.
