"Author Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's 'Srikanta' is considered an autobiographical work. It narrates various encounters and periods in the author’s life when he walked alongside different individuals. Among these, several women came into Sarat Chandra's life at different times but eventually drifted away. Of all of them, Rajlaxmi left a more lasting impression on the author’s mind.
