Mid-1980s. For the nation’s security, India formed a covert operation team—‘Jatayu’. The mastermind behind this mission was Mrinal Rudra. He handpicked fearless young men and women from across India, those who were ready to sacrifice everything for their country. This elite team included Prithwish, Karolia, Venkat, Siraj, Baljit, Surinder, Bijender, Anil Dixit, and several experienced Navy officers.

But before their training could be completed, the rising wave of terrorism in Punjab forced them into action. The watchful agents of Jatayu were deployed across Punjab, Delhi, and London. Their mission: identify and eliminate every threat funded from abroad. Some agents even infiltrated the Golden Temple disguised as militants, while others accompanied India’s Prime Minister on her 1982 U.S. tour. Their only objective—national security.
"Anything for my nation, everything for my countrymen, nothing for myself."

Yet, despite their efforts, Operation Blue Star could not be stopped. Betrayal from within led to the deaths of many agents. On October 29, 1984, in a cramped hotel room in Delhi’s crowded alleys, an unknown assassin murdered Mrinal Rudra, the Joint Head of Jatayu. Before dying, he left a final message—
“Mission has been compromised. Shut down Jatayu.”

Two days later, the Prime Minister was assassinated. With the nation’s security at risk, Jatayu was disbanded, and its remaining agents were terminated. But amidst this chaos, one of Bhindranwale’s closest aides escaped.
Had Jatayu unknowingly created a monster?

Decades later, whispers still echo through intelligence corridors—
"He will return one day… to reclaim his dream of Khalistan."

Forty years later, that nightmare seems to be coming true.
The head of the Operation Task Force, Anil Dixit, is suddenly being hunted—by his own team! Forced to flee, he finds refuge in the apartment of Mrinal Rudra’s granddaughter, Indrani Rudra.

The country is once again on the brink of devastation.
Time left: seven days.

  • Explosions target a military convoy in Rajasthan.
  • Heavy shelling erupts on the border.
  • Twenty armed militants seize the Golden Temple.
  • Their demand: direct talks with India’s Defense Minister.

Is he finally back to reclaim Khalistan?
Can Anil Dixit and Indrani stop the conspiracy in time?
Or is Anil Dixit himself part of this deadly game?

Set against the backdrop of terror-stricken Punjab, national politics, religious conflict, international espionage, and one of India’s darkest chapters, comes a semi-fictional political-spy thriller—
‘Agents of Jatayu: Rise of the Monster’.

Featuring several characters from the ‘Prakhar Rudra Series’, this gripping action-thriller unfolds within these pages.
