About the author – Born in Taki and quiet by nature Seema Ganguly has done her post-graduation in Bengali from Calcutta University. She started writing after the death of her son, Dighir, in 2014. She is now actively working for the betterment and education of the people of Sundarban through the Dighir Ganguly Foundation Trust. She is also engaged in establishing an eye hospital in Taki.
