Goyenda Kaushik by Narayan Debnath [Hardcover]

Detective Kaushik Roy is a famous comic character in Bengali literature, created by Narayan Debnath. The character made its first appearance in the *Shuktara* magazine during the month of Phalgun in 1382 Bengali calendar (1976) through the colorful comic titled **"Sarpraj-er Dweep"** (The Island of the Serpent King). The character of Detective Kaushik is modeled somewhat after foreign spy or secret agent characters. 

Kaushik Roy is a sharp-witted spy working for the Indian government's intelligence agency. His right hand is equipped with an iron fist covered in a special white armor, which serves as a weapon. He is an expert in martial arts and boxing. To give the character an international appeal, most of Kaushik’s adventures take place in foreign lands.
