For writing the novel 'Phoolgulo Shoriye Nao,' the author collected information from over forty-four books. Manik Bandopadhyay's youngest son, Mr. Sukanta Bandopadhyay, provided generous assistance. Without his generosity and cooperation, this novel could not have been written. By combining necessary information with the novelist's imagination, this life-based novel 'Phoolgulo Shoriye Nao' was created. The author is indebted to poet Subhash Mukhopadhyay for the book's title."
