Joy Goswami's poetry was first published forty-two years ago. Since then, he has been writing poetry continuously for four decades. There have been instances when three poetry books by him were published within a single year. On the other hand, there have been times when three years passed without a single book being released. At times, the poet has acknowledged taking a break. Nevertheless, the total number of his poetry books — excluding anthologies - is around thirty-five. From his first modest poetry booklet to his most recent works, all of Joy Goswami’s poetry is being compiled in a multi-volume collection published by Anand Publishers. The fifth volume has now been released. By reading these five volumes in succession, one can grasp how the path of Joy Goswami’s poetry has taken many twists and turns, and how powerful, diverse, and far-reaching the radiance of his poetry is.
