Shrestha Kabita by Sankha Ghosh [Hardcover]

The twelfth edition of this book was published in the month of Baisakh, 1415 (Bengali calendar). Up until that point, almost every edition had undergone some inevitable additions and omissions—to make room for poems from newer books. However, in the ten years since then, across the following nine editions, no changes were made to the book. This new edition, therefore, includes a slightly larger number of additions. A few selected poems from seven books—from *M?tikhõ?? Purono Karoti* ("The Unearthed Ancient Skull") to *Eo Ek Byatha-Upashom* ("This Too a Relief from Pain")—have been added here. This edition also includes some new poems from the book *Seemantobihin Deshe Deshe* ("In Borderless Lands"). And finally, one addition from *Chhônder Bhitore Eto Andhôkar* ("So Much Darkness Within Rhythm") finds its place at the end.
