Gourananda Samagra by Gourkishore Ghosh [Hardcover]
Gaurananda first appeared in the 1960s on the pages of a daily newspaper. Hing Ting Chhot introduced readers to a new style of satirical commentary. After running sporadically for some time, Gaurananda became a regular feature from December 1973. His pen continued to captivate readers until June 1993.
Every Wednesday (with a few exceptions), readers eagerly awaited the sharp wit and satire of Gaurananda Kobi Bhone. Apart from a year-long imprisonment (1975-1976), this popular column ran fairly regularly until 1984. From 1985 to 1993, its appearances became highly irregular.
This book compiles all the prose writings of Gaurananda’s column, bringing together the complete collection for readers to enjoy.
